Synopsis
The story takes place in Turkey during the late 1930s and early 1940s. Davut Karaman is a hardworking coal miner who lives a modest life with his family in the mining town of Zonguldak. He works in the coal mine alongside his father and brothers and is known for his courage and strong sense of justice.
A tragic mining accident occurs when the mine owner, Malik Pasazade, ignores safety warnings despite dangerous weather conditions. The collapse causes the deaths of several miners and leaves many families devastated. Although Malik is responsible for the disaster, he uses his power and influence to avoid punishment.
Unable to accept the injustice, Davut decides to fight for the rights of the miners and challenge the corrupt system. During this struggle, he meets Gulfem Pasazade, Malik’s daughter. Raised in wealth and privilege, Gulfem initially sees Davut as rebellious and disrespectful. However, as she learns more about him and the hardships faced by the workers, her feelings begin to change.
Despite their different social backgrounds and the opposition of their families, Davut and Gulfem develop a deep bond. Their love story unfolds amid class conflicts, family rivalries, and a battle for justice.

Character Details
Davut Karaman (Ugur Gunes)
Davut is the main protagonist of the series. He is a fearless coal miner who cannot tolerate injustice. Gulfem Pasazade Karaman (Esra Bilgic)
